~BORN TO EXCITE~
Many would say that, once you have lost something or someone so near and dear to you, it will never come back to you again, in other words, you've lost it for good. But that is not necessarily true. Many people have walked in and out of my life, leaving me with nothing less than a scar. Everything happens for a reason, though sometimes we may fail to understand why certain things happen and would eventually cause us so much pain and misery.
Opportunity seldom knocks twice, we have to seize every opportunity that comes our way. Especially when we are given a second chance, another shot, we should always use it wisely and not repeat the same mistakes like the one before. In the pass few years, I have failed to seize every good opportunity, I have failed to hold on tight to those who are dear and near to me, I have taken some people for granted, but thats all changing now.
For the pass few months, I thought that I have lost someone, but in actual fact I did not give up on us. I tried every possible way to close the gap between us. Things are starting to change(a lil) for the better, but how far can this friendship of ours go, that question still remains a mystery.
In a friendship, it has to be a two way thing, some people say, give more and take less, but whats the point if u're not getting any appreciation in return. Everyone needs a little appreciation, we all want to feel wanted, appreciated and needed, especially from the ones we care and love most, because they are the ones who would always make our day. Some people may not know how to express their true selves, but someday it has to be done, things have to be said, "ITS NOW OR NEVER!" Time won't wait for us, It would pass us by, and the only thing that would live in us is REGRETS! Regrets, would stay with us forever & it will eat us up slowly, and that is one thing which we would never want to take with us when we leave this world.
Frenz, if you love someone or like someone, seize every opportunity to tell them how you feel and if they mean alot to you, never take them for granted or neglect them, spend as much time as possible, because we would never know when would our heart beat for its last time. I have lost many people whom i care most, and never had the chance to tell them how important they are to me, i simply took too long and time did not permit me to express myself, i regreted it, but still life has to go on.
Back in high school, I was a totally different person back then, I was filled with vengence, was very bad tempered, hard-headed and "SORRY" was never in my vocabulary. You could hardly or should i say never hear me say sorry nor except any sorry in return. "SORRY", back then was a cheap word, with no special & sincere meaning. But now things have change, I have change and now, I go round telling people that "SORRY" isn't such a mean or bad word. Being the first to say "SORRY"(although you may think that you're not a fault, but it will always take two hands to clap) would not make u poorer or sicker, it would make you a better person & it would definitely make you feel better. What's holding us back is our strong sense of egoness. But for some people who refuses to say sorry first, probably they have a reason on their own for doing so. Well the only thing that could calm and heal us is "TIME". TIME heals everything.
I had a best friend(take note of the past tenses), and obviously not anymore, i have mixed feelings about losing our friendship, it was a disaster and somehow It took me quite some time to let it go, i'm over it now, i've moved on & there's no turning back. No regrets! Leaving with or without a best friend is never easy. Once you have found a potential candidate, hold them tight and never let them go.
